Stratton's love for the mountains and the natural world emanated from the summit of Mount Blackmore this morning. I placed this Stratto-Stone here because it's a commonplace for bike-to-ski missions when Hyalite Canyon closes the road to all vehicles in the spring. We spoke about this zone during our time together in the Sisters Wilderness, sitting by the campfire with fond excitement and hopes to get out here together one day.
